SINGLE TIER MEZZANINE- Weston-Super-Mare
THE CHALLENGE
A single-tier mezzanine installation required variable loadings due to structural constraints. Along the warehouse wall, standard base plates could not be used because the client planned to construct a wall beneath the mezzanine. This meant the support posts had to be positioned onto existing beams, requiring a tailored structural solution while maintaining full load compliance.
OUR SOLUTION
We engineered a bespoke mezzanine design with adjusted load calculations, allowing posts along the wall to be fixed directly onto structural beams rather than floor-mounted base plates. The system was carefully designed to accommodate the future wall build beneath the mezzanine, while ensuring stability, safety, and compliance across differing load zones.
THE RESULT
Delivered a fully compliant single-tier mezzanine with variable load capacity.
Enabled the client to construct a wall beneath the mezzanine without structural compromise.
Optimised use of space while meeting both operational and building requirements.
